General Info

Tucked away at 23202 57th Ave W, Mountlake Terrace, WA 98043, United States, Bw Noodle is a Thai restaurant that feels both welcoming and refreshingly straightforward. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere has the relaxed energy of a neighborhood diner, the kind of place locals return to again and again. The space is comfortable, and if the weather is nice, the outdoor seating offers a pleasant spot to enjoy a meal while watching the quiet rhythm of the area.

What stands out first is the menu, which focuses on classic Thai comfort dishes prepared with care. One of the highlights here is the Pad Thai, a familiar favorite that arrives fragrant and well balanced. The noodles have just the right texture, while the flavors lean slightly savory with a gentle sweetness that keeps each bite satisfying. It’s one of those dishes that quickly explains why Bw Noodle earns such positive reviews from visitors looking for dependable Thai food.

Another dish that often draws attention is Kao Mun Gai, a simple but deeply comforting plate. Tender chicken sits over flavorful rice, creating a dish that feels both hearty and light at the same time. Meanwhile, soup lovers tend to gravitate toward the Beef Soup or the Beef Rice Noodle Soup. Both options are rich without being overwhelming, with a broth that carries a slow-cooked depth of flavor. The noodles soak up the broth beautifully, making it the kind of meal that warms you up from the first spoonful.

For something a little different, the Kanoom Jeen offers a unique experience. This dish adds variety to the restaurant’s lineup and showcases another side of Thai cuisine, giving regular diners a reason to keep exploring the menu.

Beyond the food itself, Bw Noodle makes dining easy for different kinds of visitors. The restaurant offers delivery, which is convenient for nights when staying home sounds better than heading out. Inside the dining area, there is wheelchair accessible seating, making the space comfortable for everyone. Families will also appreciate that the restaurant is good for kids, and the staff maintains a friendly, relaxed approach that helps the entire place feel approachable.

Practical details are handled smoothly as well. Guests can pay with credit cards, and the service tends to move at an easy, steady pace that never feels rushed. What customers say?

“ This restaurant was sparkling clean. We ordered a beef pad thai, thai style chicken with rice and deep fried calamari. The deep fried calamari was so so. The pad thai and thai style chicken were hands down. Chicken was tender and soft juicy. Side ginger sauce was perfect with it. Portion was just good. The beef pad thai was a bit sweet but I liked it by addding chilie oil. This local small restaurant was very clean with friendly staffs. Highly recommended! ”

“ The noodle soup tastes like a warm hug. The lunch portion is the perfect size, everything on the menu is great. The food is good! Great little neighborhood place. ”

“ Highly recommend the beef jerky. It's really meaty and the spice sauce is amazing. Was fresh and went really well with beer. We also got the Tom yum soup and pad ki Mao. Left very full and almost could not finish all. So glad this restaurant is near my house. ”

“ So good! We have been here many times for carryout and have always talked about how good it was. Lunch specials are great! Portion sizes aren't huge, but flavor is there and it gives us a good reason for an appetizer. ”

- Chris Barnett -

“ Interestingly, this place has more noodle soup dishes than the stir fried noodle dishes. Usually it's the other way around. I like that the noodle dishes are not the usual typical ones seen in other Thai restaurants. We had the Guay tiew ruea (beef rice noodle soup) and it was interesting and also tasted great. The pad thai was also well done. We also enjoyed the black rice pudding. The one dish that didn't really stand out was the Thai Red chicken BBQ which was not really distinctive in anyway. Bright clean space. Very friendly service. I didn't care for the TV being on playing some travel food blog videos. It's too distracting. ”

“ Great to have a new Thai place in the neighborhood! It's a smaller menu where everything is delicious. First visit I tried the pad Thai and pad see ew as typical classic favorites, and they were very good. Second visit I tried the Kao Mun Gai and I HIGHLY recommend! Gives similar vibes to a chicken teriyaki type of comfort dish but a Thai dish instead. The ginger dipping sauce was DIVINE. Their Thai iced tea was also really good! Some Thai iced tea can be too dilute but this one was very tasty. The presentation serving in person is very nice as well and the staff is very friendly. Definitely becoming a regular in our rotation of local restaurants! ”

“ Can't beat the $7 lunch special deals anywhere else these days. Tried the fried rice, beef noodles soup, and the appetizer combo. Everything were excellent. I visited when they just opened up at 11am so had no problem in any delay getting my food. Family-run and operated. Taste authentic and friendly service. Other reviews complained about long wait times during lunch hours; I recommend the server/cashier who took the orders inform future customers for more accurate wait times before taking their orders to avoid any confusion. Family-run restaurant are not easy to operate, keep up the good work! ”
